Online Booking Terms and Conditions

Please read our booking rules and guidance so that you get the most from your visit to TJ Jacks Hair Studio.

Online Bookings General

  • We will contact you to discuss any alterations to your appointment.

  • Prices are intended as guide only. You will be charged for the services you receive, which may differ from the services you have booked.

  • Prices do not include any promotions, offers or discounts that you may be entitled to.

  • Bookings made online may need to be slightly amended to fit in with studio time slot. Please ensure that we have your current contact details (preferably a phone number) and we will contact you as soon as possible.

  • If you are unable to find the availability that you are looking for, don't worry , just give us a ring and Tara will do her very best to find an appointment to suit your needs!

Colours & Perms

  • If you are booking for a colour service you will need a skin test 48 hours before you have the full treatment. Tests are available without an appointment and are free. Failure to have a skin test may result in us being unable to carry out your treatment(s).

  • Colour corrections and transformations – sometimes changing your colour is easy, other times it’s more complicated. We recommend that you contact the salon for advice before making your reservation.

  • For a quotation for transformations or corrections please visit the salon for a consultation. Alternatively we will happily offer a price range by telephone.

DOUBLE UP Bookings

  • A deposit is required at the time of booking either on-line or in person. This will be 50% of the total fee across both parties

Cancellation Policy

All deposits are non refundable.

As of 6/1/22 all customers wishing to book for colour services will be required to pay a 50% service charge deposit. New customers may do so when using the on-line booking system or via payment link if booking by phone or message.

Existing customers can do so by making an additional payment when checking out. This will be made a rolling deposit scheme so the additional payment only needs to be paid once.


As of 6/1/22 the notice period for cancellations will be increased from 24 hours to 48 hours. If less than 48 hours notice is given for cancellation or amendment of your appointment your 50% service charge deposit will be lost. If less than 24 hours notice is given or you fail to arrive to your appointment without notice you will be required to pay 100% of the service charge before re-booking can take place.

In the instance of one party wishing to cancel, if that party gives less than 48hrs notice the deposit will be lost and the other party loses the right to any discount related to the services provided and must pay the full service price for the indiviual service.

If less than 24hrs notice is given for cancellation or the client fails to arrive to the appointment they will be liable for the full service amount which will need to be paid before they can re-book an appointment in the future.

Privacy Policy

What information do we collect?

TJ Jacks Hair Studio receives, collects and stores any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect your booking and payment (paid or unpaid) history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback,  and personal profile.

How do we collect this information?

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Why do we collect this information?

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services;

  2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and support;

  3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages;

  4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

  5. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

How do we use, store and disclose data you give us?

Our company is hosted on the platform. provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through’s data storage, databases and the general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

In addition, TJ Jacks Hair Studio uses Sum Up payment systems. They say...

How will TJ Jacks Hair Studio communicate with you?

We may contact you to notify you regarding your appointment, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone and text messages.
